Everyone is in a festive mood, even Wiley’s farm manager, Bruna Hailey, and she NEVER smiles. All is well until Roscoe Price gallops in to throw horse muck on Wiley’s character. And is that Roscoe’s wife Ophelia making eyes at Wiley? Throw in a mystery reporter, and the evening turns thoroughly deadly.

Following the death of its founder, William Bradford Sr, the Mayflower quickly sank into debt and then suffered a hostile takeover followed by pay cuts and layoffs.

New owner, Marvin Standish, sees this annual race as his chance to bond with his workers. But when William Bradford Jr. arrives unexpectedly, tempers boil, and reputations are roasted!
